TripAdvisor.com user comments about Sushi Cat

We were visiting in Tallinn and we are huge fans of sushi. Sushi cat looked cool based on its web site. Indeed, they were able to deliver "the promise" of taking japanese culture, manga and anime "seriously".

The restaurant itself was quite small and maximum table size was four persons. The whole place resembled, with its pink walls and anime girl decorations, Hello Kitty's home. Waitresses were dressed in Japanese school uniforms. Sushi cat even had its own music video which was now and then played on the wall screen between Japanese concert records. Whilst waiting the meal you can check the latest Japanese cosplay news from the available magazines.

Sushi was ok. The alternatives on menu contained 6-15 pieces of sushi per portion. There were no huge sushi party platters available as it's usual in some sushi restaurants. Lots of vegetarian meals were listed. Sushi is prepared in the front of your eyes at the counter.

Summa summarum: Sushi cat is definitely a place to visit if you dig Japanese culture exports, besides the way of preparing the rice. For other folks out there Sushi cat offers very affordable way to enjoy healthy and tasty fish and vegetarian meals.

I found this restaurant by walking past their screaming japanese style windows. The chefs and girls are dressed like Japanese characters and the walls are pink so it's sort of cliché but it works.

The fish was very fresh and the Sushi I had tasted really good.

Surprising place in many ways - worth taking a look at. Prices around 50-100 Kroona. Adress: Roosikrantsi 16. They have a homepage with menu here: http://www.sushicat.ee/menu/
